He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac J. Helmuth and Lydia J. Helmuth (Miller); and his siblings, Bessie Miller, John I. Helmuth, Mattie Frye, Melvin Helmuth and Jacob Helmuth.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Jean Stewart; his daughters, Hope A. Sanchez (David) of Watauga, TX and Karen Yoder (Glenn) of Irwin, OH; his grandchildren, Michelle Maust (Matthew) and Clayton Yoder (Rachel); his stepgrandsons, Carlos Sanchez and Lorenzo Sanchez; and his great grandchildren, Shelby Yoder and Dylan Schlabach.
