He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Nelson (Kemp) and T. O. Nelson; and his daughter Karen Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Munson; his children, Shari Shank of Shipshewana, IN, Tammy Tevlin (Tim) of Elkhart, IN and Patrick Nelson of LaGrange, IN; his grandchildren, Adam Shank, Erica Shank, Laurel Nelson, Chad Tevlin and Austin Tevlin; his sister Rose Pratt of Elkhart, IN; and his nephews, Kim Pratt and Kelly Pratt.
