He was predeceased by: his parent Magdaline Taylor (Kintzel); his former wife Frances Study; his wife Carolyn Sue Reade; his father Millard Reed Sr.; his daughter Melisa Taylor; and his son-in-law Rex Holmes.
He is survived by: his children, Lauri Holmes of Colorado Spring, CO, Lisa N. Booth, MD of Howe, IN, Lynnelle Miller (Phillip "Yogi") of LaGrange, IN, Tara Weber (Clay) of LaOtto, IN, Todd Thomas Taylor of Kendallville, IN and Leigh Ann DeBold (Rick) of Rochester, IN; his daughter-in-law Molly Taylor of Auburn, IN; and his brother Richard L. Taylor (Judith) of Indianapolis, IN.. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren.
The family wishes that in honor of the many babies that Dr. Taylor delivered, memorials go to the Family Birthing Center at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
