He is survived by: his wife Dawn Smith of LaGrange; his son Bud Smith of LaGrange; and his siblings, Kathleen Slone of Columbia City, Edwina Patrick (Jim) of Warsaw, Naomi Smith of Warsaw and Mack Smith (Ann Martinez) of Ligonier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
