We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2024, at the age of 85, John R. Crist of Lagrange, Indiana, born in Logansport, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though John may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. Crist and Mary Crist (Harrison); his wife Patricia A. Murphy; and his granddaughter Kathleen Martin. He is survived by: his children, Patricia "Shelly" Johnson of Walkerton, IN, Ann Thielking of Marion, IA, Sharon Ball (Bill) of Winamac, IN, Kenneth Martin (Kathy) of Niles, MI and Michael Crist (Lori) of Thorntown, IN. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (0050 N - 100 E, LaGrange, IN 46761). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
