He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Verlin Buchanan and Emily Buchanan (O'Neill); his wife Jerilyn Buchanan of LaGrange; his children, Kelly Ragland (Mike) of Virginia, Jessica German (Justin) of Elkhart, Angela Colwell of LaGrange and Kyle Buchanan of California; his grandchildren, Trent Ragland, Travis Ragland, Trace Ragland, Shaylise Buchanan, Dacoda Yerington, Taylor Yerington, Connor German, Caiden German and Sophia German; his great grandchildren, Hazel Crump and Hudson Salizar; and his siblings, Dick Buchanan (Terri) of Fort Wayne, Kevin Buchanan of Muncie, Ginger Fricker and Charlie Buchanan.
