Gordon K. Swartzentruber Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon K. Swartzentruber of Lagrange, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Swartzentruber and Eva Swartzentruber (Kline). He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Gonyea of LaGrange, IN and Lisa Tjarks of Howe, IN; his stepchildren, Michelle Kemper of Fishers, IN, Jeff Doering of St. Louis, MO and Mark Doering of Constantine, MI; his grandchildren, Brooke Richardson (Mike) of Mongo, IN, Adam Tjarks of Howe, IN and Seth Tjarks of Howe, IN; his stepgrandchildren, Brent Doering of Denver, CO, John Kemper of Indianapolis, IN and Amber Meczkowski of St. Louis, MO; and his great grandchild Sunshine Richardson.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church (797 N Detroit St, LaGrange, IN 46761). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in Gordon's memory to the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
