She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Rynearson and Edith Rynearson (Hutchinson); her husband E. Palmer Burgi; and her sons, Craig Burgi and Ray Burgi.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Pascal (Walter) of South Haven, MI and Gary Burgi (Monica) of Hilliard, OH; and her daughter-in-law Tina Burgi of LaGrange.

Gertrude was a 40-year survivor of breast cancer and memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
