It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ervin M. Lehman of Lagrange, Indiana, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manasses M. Lehman and Edna J. Lehman (Miller); his wife Lydia Mae Hochstetler; his brothers, Edward, John and Daniel Lehman; his stepmother Lizzie Lehman (Miller); his children-in-law, Freeman Mishler, Glen Beechy and Nola Lehman; and his grandson-in-law Dennis Mast.
He is survived by: his children, Manas Lehman (Wilma) of Millersburg, Freeman Lehman (Freeda) of Shipshewana, Orva Lehman (Rosetta) of Topeka, Glen Lehman (Kathryn) of Shipshewana, Ervin Jr. Lehman (LeAnna) of Topeka, Ernest Lehman (LuElla) of Ligonier, Edna Ellen Hostetler (Joseph Jr.), Ida Mae Beechy, Rosanna Miller (David) of Shipshewana, Irene Bontrager (David) of LaGrange, Mary Bontrager (Verlin) of LaGrange and Wilma Schmucker (Samuel Jr.) of Mio, MI; his brother Manasses Jr. Lehman of LaGrange; and his sister-in-law Sara Lehman of Topeka. He is also survived by 76 grandchildren, 229 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, 11 step grandchildren, 55 step great-grandchildren, seven step great-great-grandchildren.
