She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Clayton and Pauline Loy (Nichols); her husband Robert P. Elliott; and her siblings, Dolly M. Haun and Roy Loy.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen; her son-in-law Robert Bates of LaGrange; her grandsons, Troy Bates of Fort Wayne, Bryan Bates (Jamie) of Fort Wayne and Robin Bates (Tawn) of Fremont; her sister Irene Higgs of Johnson City, TN; and her close friends, Mary Ann Ehert-Nelson of LaGrange and Pollyanna Kauffman of Eddyville, KY.. She is also survived by three nephews and two nieces.
