He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Bontrager and Verna Bontrager (Eash); his sister Viola Bontrager; and his sister-in-law Mary Bontrager. He is survived by: his wife Bridget Bontrager of LaGrange; his sons, Willard Bontrager (Jill) of Indianapolis and Calvin Bontrager of Elkhart; his stepchildren, Bobbie Davis (Justine) of Syracuse, Beth Zolen (Terry) of Tennessee and Betsy Compton (Tony) of Silver Lake; and his siblings, Ivan Bontrager of Arizona, Rosemary Graber (Jerome) of Davis County, Wilma Bontrager of LaGrange, Lorene Troyer (Ray) of LaGrange and Ann Bontrager of LaGrange. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
