Alice D. Bontrager Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, at the age of 90, Alice D. Bontrager of Lagrange, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David J. Bontrager and Mattie Bontrager (Hostetler); her husband Clarence R. Bontrager; and her brother LaVerne Bontrager. She is survived by: her children, LeEtta Miller (Alvin Jay) of Topeka, Sue Ann, Duane Bontrager (Catherine) of Topeka, David Dean Bontrager (Linda Fern) of Nappanee, Vernon Ray Bontrager (Arlene) of Centerton, AR and Dennis Jay Bontrager (Naomi) of Cambria, WI; her sister Nina Mae Weldy of Shipshewana; and her sister-in-law Fanny Mae Lambright (Chris) of Topeka. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Duane Eash Residence (5880 US-20, LaGrange, IN 46761). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Lyle Yoder Residence (0040 S 600 W, LaGrange, IN 46761). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Hawpatch Cemetery (6500 S 700 W, Topeka, IN 46571).
