As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Violet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jodie Holmes and Glodine Holmes (Biggs); her husband Melvin H. Pearson; and her sisters, Marilyn Coffey and Jodine Breitwieser.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Pearson (Denise) of Lafayette, Jeannine Sturgeon of Colorado and Jill Alm of Lafayette; and her sister Carolyn Hirschinger of Lafayette. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army.
