He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Coffey and Josephine Coffey (Gerber); his wife Ruth Ann (Thomas); and his brothers, Phillip, Randy and David Coffey.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Hoskins (Larry) and Heather Coffey; his grandchildren, Ben Hoskins (Juanita), Kory Daugherty (Brandee) and Tia Kervin (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Delilah, Leo, Logan Hoskins, Ryanne, Bentleigh, Brielle, Haevyn Daugherty and Kennedy Kervin.
