He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Hylbert and Nellie Hylbert (Bickley); his son Todd Hylbert (Rolo); his significant other Mary "Pat" Dilts; his great-nephew Jeremiah Hylbert; and his stepson Paul Dilts.
He is survived by: his son Cory Hylbert (Melodi); his brother Leonard Hylbert (Jane); his nieces and nephews, Sue Campbell (Roger), Dale Hylbert (Lynn), Doug Hylbert, Shannon Hunt (Derik) and Kristina Rooker (Mark); and his stepchildren, Clay Dilts (Julie), Crissy Woessner (Leo), Victoria Bunce and Jacqueline Eller (Bobby).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hippensteel Funeral Home (822 N 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47904).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or your local animal shelter.
