He was predeceased by: his parent Shelby Pettry Sr.; his wife Phyllis Jean Burton; his son Michael Pettry; and his brother James Pettry. He is survived by: his children, Julia Pettry (Chuck Walker) of Angola, Stephen Pettry (Tina) of Rossville and Mark Pettry (James Grossman) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
