It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon J. Floyd Perez of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward G. Floyd and Alice M. Thompson Mohler; her stepparents, Sue Floyd and Alvin Mohler; and her siblings, Robert, Edward Floyd, William "Bill" Mohler and Kathy Ingmire.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Perez; her children, Melissa (Jason Walters), Pamela Downey of West Lafayette, Del (Evelyn Downey) and Mark (Gaby Downey); her siblings, Karen Mohler of Logansport, Cindy (Dave Goodin), Marsha (John Stoner), Becky Floyd of Lafayette, Mike Floyd of Lafayette and Chuck Waddups of Eugene, OR; and her grandchildren, Adam, Brett, Emily, Shelby, Riley, Ethan W., Ethan D., Max, Keegan, Eleanor and Florence. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
