Roger Paul Clemons Obituary
Roger Paul Clemons, 60, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 13, 2024 due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
He was born August 31, 1963, in Chicago, IL, to Fanuel and Calla (Napier) Clemons.
Roger graduated from Knox High School in 1981.
On May 29, 1982, he married Mary Combs in North Judson and she survives.
Roger worked as an Application Business Analyst with Franciscan Alliance for thirty-one years.
He was a member of Crestview Community Church and C3 Riders. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, his Mustang, and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid lover of dad puns, who really knew how to light up a room.
Surviving along with his wife, Mary Catherine Clemons of Lafayette, and his mother, Calla Clemons of Lafayette, is his daughter, Sarah (Ben) Sheets of Lafayette, two sons, Roger Kyle (Lisa) Clemons of Fishers and Jacob Danuel (Katie) Clemons of Lansing, MI, a brother, Doug (Jane) Clemons of Knox and a sister, Wilma Clemons of Houston, TX. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Shayna Clemons, Braelyn Sheets and Avery Clemons.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Fanuel Clemons and a sister, Brenda Bower.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 19th at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 20, 2024 also at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Pastor Thom Redmond officiating. Interment will follow at Meadow View Cemetery. In honor of Rogers love for motorcycles, his family invites all motorcyclists to join in a procession leading to the cemetery. He is loved and missed by all who knew him.
