He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Cunningham and Versa Cunningham (Gilles); his son Jeff Cunningham (Pudge); and his siblings, Jack Cunningham, Gene Cunningham, Dale Cunningham, Phyllis Hallar and Cecil Banghart.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Arlene Simons; his children, Brian Cunningham, Tina Duncan (Dave) and Bobby Cunningham; his grandchildren, Fawn Glover (Chris), Amber Holle (Chris), Courtney Sotelo (Jose), TJ Lindsay (Brittany) and Laura Bell; and his sisters, Helen Foster, Harriet Anderson and Marjorie Smuckey. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Robert requested donations be made to his granddaughter, Fawn Glover as she undergoes chemotherapy for colon cancer.
