He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ervin and Nancy Brady Stanifer; and his sisters, Bobbie Gayle Landreth and Patricia Apparicio. He is survived by: his wife Synoble Lee Stanifer; his children, Chris Stanifer (Kim) of Lafayette, Robert Stanifer III (Barbara) of Wabash, Aaron Stanifer (Tracy) of Lafayette, Mary Cox of Muncie, Andrew Stanifer (Deb) of Goshen, Anna Louzon of Vacaville, CA. and Melissa Minton of Middlesboro, KY.; and his sisters, Linda Leap (George) of Lafayette, Cindy Shockey (Glenn) of Dayton and Kay Muse of Frankfort. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lafayette Chapel (914 Columbia St, Lafayette, IN 47901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens.
