He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joseph Metzger and Mary Sanchelli; his daughter Denise Albrecht; and his grandson Justin Cooper. He is survived by: his spouse Andrea L. Weaver (Williams); and his children, Joseph Metzger (Laurie) of Lafayette, Suzanne Ryan (Dave) of Attica, Marisa Marcussen (Bill) of Lafayette, Diann Kirby (Jeff) of Lafayette, Theresa Cooper of Lafayette, Melissa Bridge-Hruskovich (Roger) of Lafayette and Wendy McMann (Chip) of Lebanon. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to Alzheimer's Association or Lafayette Catholic Schools.
