It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Holst of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt Dawson and Dorothy Dawson (Watkins); her husbands, Sim Hardesty and John Cooper (Jack); her siblings, Jennie Young, Charles Dawson, Robert Dawson and Clarence Dawson; her stepdaughter Jane Strasser; and her close friend Max Vester.

She is survived by: her children, Kerry Hardesty (Vickie) of Lafayette, Rick Hardesty (Mary Margaret) of Murfreesboro, TN, LuAnn Hardesty (Staci) of Pearland, TX, John Holst (Christi) of Jacksonville, FL and Jill Storms (Derrick) of Avon, IN; her stepson-in-law Marty Strasser; her sister Lenore Ferguson (Tom) of Lafayette, IN; and her grandchildren, John, Tiffany, Nick, Alex, Johnny, Zoe, Dylan, Chad, Jennifer, Brooke and Bailee. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
