He was predeceased by: his father Charles S. Hardesty; his wife Jane Francis Tures; and his brother James R. Hardesty. He is survived by: his children, Matt Hardesty (Jessica) of Oxford, Mike Hardesty of Lafayette and Melanie Pippenger (Robert) of Clarks Hill; and his siblings, John W. Hardesty of Lafayette, Virginia Greky (Richard) of Modena, MO and Augusta Idle (Harry) of Lafayette. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
