He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Coopman and Izora Coopman (Brannigan); his children, Cheryl Sears and Kevin Coopman; his grandchildren, Erin Coopman, Ava Sears and Travis Lange; and his great great grandchildren, Alexander and Crystallyn Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ann Coopman; his children, Lori Smith (Gary), Carla Coopman and Bruce Coopman (Melissa); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Tad, Nathaniel, Joshua, Danielle, Alec, Bridgette, Katelyn, Garrett, Dylan, Brandon and Wesley; his great grandchildren, Miranda, Hope, Joseph, Lilly, Jonathan, Killian, Davis, Wesley, Coralei, Kai, McKenna, Aili, Dallas and Indy; and his great great grandchild Romen.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Colfax Christian Church (314 S Clark St, Colfax, IN 46035). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that. Memorial Contributions be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinsons Foundation.
