With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rafaela Tepalzingo Xique of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reymundo Xique and Juliana Tepalzingo Xique; and her husband Pedro Sanchez. She is survived by: her children, Bulmaro Sanchez (Gisela Telez), Mauro Sanchez (Amada Cuena), Eulalio Sanchez (Julia Cuautle), Juan Sanchez (Ana), Roberta Sanchez (Santiago Cuatlatl), Rosalina Sanchez (Francisco Ramirez), Casilda Sanchez (Isabel Ramirez), Reynalda Sanchez (Felix Ramirez), Romana Sanchez (Guillermo Hernandez) and Victoria Sanchez (Aurelio Cuatlacuatl); and her brother Venancio Tepalzingo (Luz).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hippensteel Funeral Home (822 N 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church West Lafayette (2224 Sacramento Ave, West Lafayette, IN 47906).
