He is survived by: his girlfriend Virginia "Kay" Carey; his siblings, Gayle Pruitt and Tim Slaughterbeck-Kingman (Kathy); his children, Danny Otero, Brenda McTagertt (Jeff), Ronica Graves and Kim Dulworth (Tom); and his grandchildren, Bryce McTagertt and T. J. Lowery.
