He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Melton and Edna Mae Melton (Lovell); his wife Marsha Melton; his brothers, Homer and Ralph Melton; his stepsister Jill Ray; and his stepmother Ethel Melton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Terri Gillam (Tom), Tammy Wolf (Rick) and Tracey Campbell (Steve); his stepsister Peggy Seslar; his granddaughters, Jessica Alford (Robbie), Brianna Tull (Lem) and Rachel Gillam; and his great grandchildren, Caitlyn Alford and Mason Alford.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post 11, or Eagles Lodge.
