Maxine D. Cory Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maxine D. Cory of Lafayette, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Berton Myers and Rosa Myers (Meade); her former husband Robert McDowell; her husband Carlton Cory; her children, John McDowell, Terence McDowell and Jennifer Sisson; her siblings, Edith Morganseng, Pauline Brown, Gladys Pernar, Walter Myers, Herman Myers, Paul Myers and Glenn Myers; her grandson Sean; and her great grandchild Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Michael McDowell (Karen) of Monticello, David McDowell (Vivian Reeves) of Monticello and Janet Breedlove (Carl) of Kokomo; her children-in-law, Vicky McDowell of Edmond, OK and Scott Sisson of Flora; her grandchildren, Adam, Kelly, Michael, Michele, Tina, Brian, Aaron, Andrew and Kimberly; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Molly, Casey, Cory, Heather, Kristen, Nicole, Megan, Kassie, Erick, Annie, Zoe, Jeremy, Kemper, Olivia, Shiloh, Brynn and Elle; and her great great grandchildren, Jackson, Karsen, Mason, Kenedy, Henry and Callie. She is also survived by two husbands, three children, all of her siblings, a grandchild and a great grandchild.
