She was predeceased by: her parents, Naomi Thompson and Alvin Thompson; her brothers, Alvin Thompson and Joseph Thompson; her daughter Tina Turley; her granddaughter Bridgette Miller; and her great grandchild Bryanna Egan.
She is survived by: her former husband Charles Powell; her sister Lucy Littleton of Lafayette, IN; and her children, Jackie Pruznak of Lafayette, IN, Teresa Schewe of Thonotosassa, Patty Miller (Mark) of Maryville and Dave Powell (Gloria) of Lafayette, IN.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
