The passing of Lillie Joan Fisher of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Bement, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Martin and Mabel Martin (Fuqua); her husband Tom Fisher; her brother Buel; and her friend Natalie Arihood Haugh.
She is survived by: her sons, John Fisher, David Fisher (Liz Grauerholz), Ted Fisher (Caroline Carter) and Charlie Fisher (Tim Irvine); her grandchildren, Emma Grauerholz-Fisher, Lara Grauerholz-Fisher, Susanna Fisher and Samuel Fisher; and her sister-in-law Wanda Martin. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be sent in care of Lillie to NICHES Land Trust or the Lilly Nature Center.
