It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Bolden of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Sneedville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bolden and Leaddie Bolden; his spouse Darlie Loretta Jessee; and his siblings, Cleta Bolden Brooks, William Bolden and Ralph Bolden.

He is survived by: his children, Janice Ann Allen (Michael) of Lafayette and Larry David Bolden of Lafayette; his brother Jimmy Bolden (Lois) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Amber, Mike and Justin Allen (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Justin Hale, Annabelle, Laylah and Sadie Allen.

Memorial donations may be made to Montmorenci Baptist Church in loving memory of Lawrence.
