He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Sutton Sr. and Margeret Sutton (Krummreich); his siblings, Bill Sutton and Josephine Sutton; and his grandson Quincy Sutton.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Lucille Cox; his brothers, Bob Sutton (Shirley), Frank Sutton (Tracey) and Ray Sutton (Linda); and his children, Joe III Sutton (Julie), Kathy Sutton, Barbara Boardman (Ed) and Becky Neal. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
