He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Wheeldon and Bonnie Wheeldon (Harris); his wife Lee Goldie Bowman; and his siblings, Tom Wheeldon, Ted Wheeldon and Syliva Hammond.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Wheeldon (Annie) and Kenny Wheeldon (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kayla Wheeldon, Steve Wheeldon, Christy Welch, Michael Welch, Kendra Flory and April Mossburg; his great grandchild Aiden Heavilon; and his siblings, Dave Wheeldon (Dixie), Thelma Collard, Wayne Wheeldon (Mary) and Carlene Winger (Roger).
A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Meadow View Cemetery (3733 Poland Hill Rd, Lafayette, IN 47909).
