He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Chilton and Pauline Chilton (Kingsbury); and his son-in-law Glen Kingseed. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Gott; and his children, Debra Kingseed (Chilton), Mike Chilton and Jill Chilton Doll. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
