We bid farewell to Gerald Eugene Huffer of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Clinton, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2024 at the age of 81. Gerald Eugene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Doyal and Dora Huffer (Crick); his sons, Robert Alan Huffer and James William Huffer; his granddaughter Erica Ford; and his siblings, Carol Williams, Jamie Huffer and Brenda Huffer.

He is survived by: his children, Tracey Uerkwitz of Lafayette and Gary Fleming (Wanda) of Greencastle, IN; his brother Richard Huffer of Frankfort; and his nephew Mike Graves (Cissy). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
