He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard P. Altepeter and Elizabeth Altepeter (Hughes); and his brother Dan Altepeter. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his children, Ann Fritton (Michael) of Indianapolis and John Altepeter (Joy) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Jack Fritton, Alex Fritton, Matthew Fritton, Griffin Altepeter and Libby Altepeter; his brothers, Tom Altepeter of Indianapolis, Jim Altepeter (Pat) and David Altepeter (Linda); and his sister-in-law Gail Altepeter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Frank's name may be given to Lafayette Catholic Schools or to the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception.
