With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence G. Dahnke of Lafayette, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Teune (Elslo) and John Teune; her husband Frederick Dahnke; and her siblings, Margaret Teune and Henry Teune (Ruth).
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Dahnke (Jean) of Lafayette, IN, Jan Dahnke Ryan (John) of Chanhassen, MN and Linda Dahnke of Bradenton, FL.; her grandchildren, Brent Dahnke (Janice) of Freedom, IN, Kim Telenko (Nick) of New Hudson, MI, Brady Ryan (Essayed) of New Haven, CT, Alyssa Kornmann (Joe) of Ellsworth, WI, Madison Ryan of San Diego, CA, Davis Ryan of Stanford, CA and Shelby Dahnke of Bradenton, FL.; and her great grandchildren, Titus, Eli, Hannah Dahnke of Freedom, IN, Makenzie, Jackson Telenko of New Hudson, MI, Noah and Kornmann of Ellsworth, WI..
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lafayette Christian Reformed Church (1200 Tippecanoe St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Lafayette Christian School, 525 N. 26th St., Lafayette, IN 47905.
