He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery D. of Lafayette and Jason D. Spurlock of Lafayette; his granddaughters, Tara A. and Trista L. Spurlock; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Rae and Eliana Mae; and his siblings, Carolyn M. Herre of Remington and Donald L. Spurlock (Wanda June) of West Lafayette.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:30 AM at the Goodland Cemetery.
