He was predeceased by: his son Brently Reece; and his grandparents, Betty Fletcher (Vic), Nathan Reece, Marjorie Beam and Richard Copenhaver.

He is survived by: his parents, Roger Reece (Sue) and Becky Reece (Copenhaver); his wife April Reece (White); his sons, Hayden Reece of Manhattan, Kansas and Trevor Reece of Manhattan, Kansas; his siblings, Dusty Anglea (Brad) of Frankfort, Scott Fox (Tiffany) of Lafayette, Erin Haynes (Ryan) of Lafayette, Shawn Reece (LeAnn) of Knoxville, TN, Todd Fox of Lafayette and Stephani Reece of Chicago; and his in-laws, Richard and Marla White of Adamsville, TN. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Doug's legacy lives on through his organ donation. He has saved and significantly improved the lives of many through this donation.
