She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Virgil and Mary Rebecca Morris (Masterson); her husband Ralph E. Brettnacher; her siblings, John Daryl Morris of Hammond, Mary Evelyn "Toots" Wilder of Fort Wayne, Charles, James Dean Morris of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joyce Morris Whitaker Lehnen of Lafayette; and her brothers-in-law, Alvin Whitaker and John Lehnen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tami Taylor (Scott) of Lafayette and Gena Clendenen (Troy) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Jayden Brettnacher (Joshua Strickler) of Lafayette, Payton Geary (Nathan) of Nashville, TN and Porter Taylor of Lafayette; her great grandchildren, Anastassia Strickler of Lafayette and Astormia Strickler of Lafayette; her siblings, Carolyn Jones of Florida, Dana Goad (James) of Lafayette, Larry Morris of Lafayette, Daniel-Duke Morris of Lafayette, David Morris (Carol) of West Point and Dennis Morris (Viki Rogers) of Battle Ground; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara-Babs Morris of Trenton, NJ, Terri Morris of New York and Dolores Morris of Hammond. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Meaddow View Cemetery.
