It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald R. Baker Sr. of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Baker and Anna Clingerman (Hopkins); his spouse Jovena F. Morinskey; his son Randy E. Baker; and his siblings, Janice Throupe, Cathy Davis and Robert Clingerman.

He is survived by: his children, Dorothy L. Clifton of Lafayette, Donald Baker, Jr. of Lafayette and Spencer Lee Baker of Lafayette; his sister Sandy Loveless of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Charles "C. J." Clifton III and Sabrina Ann Clifton; and his great grandchildren, Rilee Marie Clifton and Jackson Campbell.
