Donald R. Baker Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald R. Baker Sr. of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Baker and Anna Clingerman (Hopkins); his spouse Jovena F. Morinskey; his son Randy E. Baker; and his siblings, Janice Throupe, Cathy Davis and Robert Clingerman.
He is survived by: his children, Dorothy L. Clifton of Lafayette, Donald Baker, Jr. of Lafayette and Spencer Lee Baker of Lafayette; his sister Sandy Loveless of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Charles "C. J." Clifton III and Sabrina Ann Clifton; and his great grandchildren, Rilee Marie Clifton and Jackson Campbell.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lafayette Chapel (914 Columbia St, Lafayette, IN 47901). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
