He is survived by: his wife Patricia Carew; his children, Joanna P. Devorak (Chad) of Overland Park, KS and Donald J. Harkins, Jr. (Michelle) of Lafayette; his stepdaughters, Christine M. Kearney (Frank) of Mason, OH and Jennifer M. Winger (Jason) of Lafayette; and his siblings, Patricia LaFemina of Selden, NY and William Harkins (Debbie) of Long Island, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in Donald's memory.
