He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Baumis and Vernal Baumis (Cooper); his former wife Carolyn; and his siblings, Sandy, Fern and Walt "Stormy" Blizard.
He is survived by: his sons, Don (Jill Molter-Baumis) of Lafayette and Dennis Baumis of Otterbein; his stepdaughter Sherri Kiesling (Scott) of Brownsburg, IN; his grandchildren, Noah, Delaney, Beau, Amy, Evan and Maisie; his stepgrandchildren, Emily May, Jordan and Heinz Kiesling; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Pierce and Vida Rivera.
