It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Baumis (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Baumis and Vernal Baumis (Cooper); his former wife Carolyn; and his siblings, Sandy, Fern and Walt "Stormy" Blizard.
He is survived by: his sons, Don (Jill Molter-Baumis) of Lafayette and Dennis Baumis of Otterbein; his stepdaughter Sherri Kiesling (Scott) of Brownsburg, IN; his grandchildren, Noah, Delaney, Beau, Amy, Evan and Maisie; his stepgrandchildren, Emily May, Jordan and Heinz Kiesling; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Pierce and Vida Rivera.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hippensteel Funeral Home (822 N 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
