It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Alderson (Lafayette, Indiana), born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Alderson and Edith Alderson (Pope); his son Tyrone Alderson; his sister Marianne Kern; and his nephew Brian White.
He is survived by: his wife Jamie Alderson; his children, Denise Hittle (Max Denley), Angela Alderson (Nick Cooper) and Andrew Alderson (Shelena Stevens); his siblings, Kenneth Alderson (Marianne), Debbie White and Susan Bright; and his grandchildren, Timothy Hittle, Dustin Hittle, Nathan Hittle, Anna Alderson, Everett Alderson, Samantha Alderson, Amanda Alderson, Ty Miller and Casey Cooper. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Simplicity Funeral Care (1608 Schuyler Ave, Lafayette, IN 47904). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family assist with funeral expenses are appreciated.
