He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ewing Arvin and Eva Gladys Hershman; and his siblings, Laertes Ajax Arvin and Lethe Oenone Bradley. He is survived by: his wife Marjory May Arvin of Lafayette; his children, Kevin Douglas Arvin of Lafayette, Kimberly Elise Cheesman of Lafayette, Mark Curtis Arvin (Rhonda) of West Lafayette, Shelley Denise Arvin of Terre Haute, Leslie Sharon Arvin of West Lafayette, Kyle Warren Arvin (Susanna) of Richmondville, NY and Scott Blaine Arvin (Karen) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Minuet Allegra Cheesman (Jess Denton), Aria Elizabeth Cheesman, Samuel Preston Arvin, Jackson Thomas Arvin, Scarlett Lynmarie Arvin (Josiah Hall), Cypress Kendel Arvin, Severin Fletcher Arvin and Ross Connor Arvin; and his great grandchildren, Alli May Brooke and Evelyn Lorien Hall.
