With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dean Marvin Lucas of Lafayette, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dean Marvin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dean Marvin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Royce Lucas and Rosaile Cranford; and his son Anthony "Tony" Royce Lucas. He is survived by: his brothers, Kenny Lucas (Debbie) of Brookston and Terry Lucas (Jayme) of Sacramento; and his granddaughter Cheyanne Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
