He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Jezierski and Helen Jezierski (Benz); his sister Doris Koepp; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Tellers and Robert Koepp.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Jezierski (Sobczyk) of Plainfield, IN; his son Justin Jezierski (Michelle) of Plainfield, IN; his grandson Jackson Jezierski of Plainfield, IN; and his siblings, George Jezierski (Marlene) of Blaine, MN, James Jezierski (Minnie) of St. Louis Park, MN and Alice Tellers of Norwood.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception (1207 Columbia St, Lafayette, IN 47901). A Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in memory of Deacon John Jezierski & Judith Jezierski.
