He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Cox and Dorothy Cox (Weliever); and his sister Linda Kay Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Carolee (Dickson); his children, Larry Cox (Denise) of Lafayette, Greg Cox (Sheryl) of Wilmington, OH, Carla Sunderland (Timothy) of Corydon and Patrick Cox (Leigh) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Joshua Cox (Brandy), Keith Cox (Hannah), Mitchel Cox (Hanna), Michael Cox (Harley), Jeremy Cox (Amanda), Lauren Spencer, Danielle Bradford (Blake), Andrew Cox and Madelyn Cox; and his sister Marylin High (Cox) of Crawfordsville. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909).
