He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquin Q. Sanchez and Antonia D. Salas Sanchez; and his wife Marilyn Jenkinson of Mary's Cathedral Catholic Church. He is survived by: his children, Carlos Sanchez Jr. (Judy) of North Carolina, Ana Ave (Chuck) of Lafayette, Becky Cobb (Greg) of Kokomo, Angie Stonehill (Mark) of Lafayette and Michael Sanchez (Kate) of Chicago; his sister Lydia Topasna (Ray) of Guam; and his sister-in-law Mary Sanchez. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; as well as multiple niece and nephews.
