He is survived by: his wife Deanna Lane of Lafayette; his sons, Brandon Shanahan (Caitlyn) of Fountain, CO and Zachary Shanahan of Fredericksburg, VA; his stepchildren, Brently Watson (Lauren Poe) of Columbus, OH and Jonathan Watson (Angela) of Monticello, IN; his siblings, Don and Dawn Devolder; and his grandchildren, Kylie, Taylor and Caydence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
